In the meantime, here are some sketches from my study of Greek Byzantine Iconography during my stay at a monastery on the island of Rhodes, Greece, where I stayed for several months. I was taught lessons in both Iconography and Greek Byzantine Chant.
I believe this is from a Greek book on Iconography by Photios Kontoglou that I was studying in the reference library of the Iconography studio there at the monastery. I'm fascinated by the proportions, theory and measurements in rendering the figures!
